Hallie is a semi-reader. She learned to read from her mom and her teachers. People read because they want to, they love it, for work, for school, and for research. To be a good reader one needs to read more because the more someone reads the faster and more fluent they will become. Reading is easy for Hallie because she does SSR when required in class. The hardest part about reading for her is reading out loud because sometimes her words get mixed up. For Hallie finding a good book is all about mysteries and tragedie. Those books are the most interesting to her because they always keep you wanting more and on your toes. Hallie doesn't read at home very often only when she needs to finish an SSR book in a certain amount of time. In general she feels that reading is fun sometimes but not always.
